Average Visit Length Graph showing wildly inaccurate data

Reproduction Steps
To reproduce this issue, go to the stats page of any game you currently own and behold the average visit length graph.

Expected Behavior
I expect my average visit length graph to be within the realm of reality. As there are only 1,440 minutes in a single day, I would at the very least expect to stay under that number for visits on any given day.

Actual Behavior
It appears that we have left that realm of reality. I’d like to submit to the court of Roblox this evidence:

This isn’t even the worst data I’ve seen. Some games are cracking the 5,000 minutes daily average figure. Check to see how high your number is! We may be able to set a world record here.

Issue Area: Roblox Website

Impact: High
Frequency: Constantly
Date First Experienced: 2022-02-01 00:02:00 (-05:00)
Date Last Experienced: 2022-02-01 00:02:00 (-05:00)

To other developers: I’d love to see how high your average visit length graph is able to get. Feel free to reply with comparisons and we can maybe make a medal for whoever conquers all the rest!

I had the same issue. It appears that mine has been fixed though.

Sorry to hear that! We just reverted a change that we think might be causing this issue. Could you please confirm that the issue is going away, or that you still see the issue happening?

So I have a few questions about this if you don’t mind answering

Is there a way to omit/revert the average time played for the inaccurate data points?
(this really messed up my statistics for january and february)

and

How would this count towards developer awards?, since I manifested a million hours played within the last like 2 days with this bug

Can confirm the same thing with Jailbreak. Would love to get this cleared out!

Same here.

Edit: it was around January 30.

Hi @superbroggy, unfortunately we don’t have a way to correct the spikes currently right now but the feedback has been shared internally.

Dev awards team are aware of this spike & will adjust on the backend :+1:

I should note since I’m in the analytics beta I checked and the hours on create.roblox were fine, though for anyone who isn’t in the analytics beta and trying to add up their hours by multiplying their visit length / visits they’ll have an incredibly skewed number for those days.

for the console line (purple) it seems to have stopped to generate a little after 16:00, did you disable console access to the game? or is it another bug?

i also noticed that in @gui110’s post that it stopped generating almost at the end of the graph

uhhh no, at the end of the bug report its said some games are having 5000+ minutes,

@Pavalineox asked me to lock this
