BRITISH ARMY CODEX
BRITISH ARMY RULES

You are expected to show respect to everyone, regardless of their rank, status, religious views or political views in our community.

Follow the Chain of Command, if you have a minor concern or a question contact the lowest-ranking officer available.

You are to address ranks OR-7 and above by “Sir” or “Ma,am” based on their gender. You are to salute ranks OF-1B and above before and after speaking to them in-game.

You are required to obey an officer’s order / decision unless it directly violates the British Army Codex.

You are required to wear your regimental standard uniforms while on duty, always wear what is needed.
5.1 Immediately put on the proper uniform upon joining the academy.
5.2 Body packages are prohibited.
5.3 T-Shirts are prohibited
5.4 Unrealistic skin tones are prohibited. (E.g. Yellow Skin tone)
5.5 Face must be professional and follow regulations.
5.6 Hair must be a natural colour and follow regulations. -
Ranks are earnt, asking for a promotion can result in a demotion.

Use Grammar to the best of your ability, it is not always expected however use it as much as you can.

Self-advertisement is prohibited, forms of advertisement include, in-game, in direct messages, in the communications server. Self-Advertisement can result in blacklist.

Before reporting another member, attempt to correct them, the member may not understand what they’re doing is wrong.

Abbreviations are prohibited, (E.g. STS, SFL)
ADMINISTRATION RULES

You have been entrusted with administrative permissions for the use of regimental and training needs.

Never use administrative commands to negatively impact the gameplay experience of someone else.

Never use administrative commands to benefit your personal gameplay experience.

Always ask permission to teleport to a higher rank before doing so.

Do not overuse admin commands, use them in the correct situations.
CONSEQUENCE OF ABUSE
- Consequences and punishments can be handed out by officers and moderations on the event of abuse of administrative permissions and violation of the British Army Codex.
BRITISH ARMY RULE VIOLATION
- Written Warning by Moderator or Regimental Officer
- Verbal Warning by Moderator or Regimental Officer
- Demotion issued by Regimental Officer
- Regimental Exile
- Blacklist from Officer Training Corps
ADMINISTRATIVE ABUSE
- Written Warning by Moderator or Regimental Officer
- Regimental Suspension by Regimental Officer

RANK STRUCTURE
ENLISTED RANKS
OR-1 Recruit
- Recruit - This rank is earned upon enlistment in the British Army.
OR-2 Private
- Private - This rank is earned upon completion of the British Army Basic Military Training.
NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
OR-3 Lance Corporal
- Lance Corporal - This rank can be earned by attending any training, not including BMT, held by ETS, or showing core qualities within your regiment which deserve promotion.
OR-4 Corporal
- Corporal - This rank can be earned by attending any training, not including BMT, held by ETS, or showing core qualities within your regiment which deserve promotion.
OR-5 Sergeant
- Sergeant - This rank can be earned by attending any training, not including BMT, held by ETS, or showing core qualities within your regiment which deserve promotion.
OR-6 Staff / Colour Sergeant
- Staff / Colour Sergeant - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. (Staff and Colour Sergeants are equvilient)
OR-7 Warrant Officer Class 2
- Warrant Officer Second Class - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. (Company Sergeant Major)
OR-8 Warrant Officer Class 1
- Warrant Officer First Class - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. (Company Sergeant Major)
COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
OF-1B Second Lieutenant
- Second Lieutenant - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. On appointment of this rank, you will begin your training in the Officer Training Corps.
OF-1 Lieutenant
- Lieutenant - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps
OF-2 Captain
- Captain - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-3 Major
- Major - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-4 Lieutenant Colonel
- Lieutenant Colonel - This rank can be earned by being picked by regimental officers for demonstrating dedication and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-5 Colonel
- Colonel - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by regimental high command for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-6 Brigadier
- Brigadier - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by regimental high command for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-7 Major General
- Major General - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by regimental high command for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps.
OF-8 Lieutenant General
- Lieutenant General - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by the Army Board for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps. This is an extremely difficult rank to obtain.
ARMY BOARD
OF-9 General
- General - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by the Army Board for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. The role of a General is to overseer a sector containing of two regiments, reporting back to the Army Board. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps. This is an extremely difficult rank to obtain.
DEV Developer
- Developer - This rank can only be obtained by being hired as a developer in the British Army. Applications are held within the Corps of Royal Engineers Communications Server.
CDEV Chief Developer
- Chief Developer - This rank can only be obtained by being hired as a developer in the British Army and showing high dedication, leadership values and loyalty towards the British Army. This is an extremely difficult rank to obtain.
ASM Army Sergeant Major
- Army Sergeant Major - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by the Army Board for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. The ASM’s role is to maintain standards within all regiments, specifically regular’s activity and values of officers. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps. This is an extremely difficult rank to obtain.
ACGS Assistant Chief of General Staff
- Assistant Chief of General Staff - This rank can be earned by being handpicked by the Army Board for demonstrating a higher amount of dedication, activity and other leadership values in your regiment. They specifically assist the CGS, DCGS & ASM with the activity and standards of all the regimental officers & regulars. You may only obtain this rank after completion of the Officer Training Corps. This is an extremely difficult rank to obtain.

PROMOTIONS

Promotions are handed out on the display of military knowledge, execution of core values and standards within the British Army, maturity, activity and completion of training.

Obtaining a new rank through promotion is an excellent event, it means you’re beginning to work your way up the ranks, gaining experience and maturity along the way.

Below is a summary of the British Army’s promotion system and how you can be promoted.
RECRUIT → PRIVATE
- Attend and complete a British Army Basic Military Training
PRIVATE → SERGEANT
- Attend a training hosted by the Education & Training Services, or join a regiment and perform to a high standard to earn a promotion. You cannot gain promotion from attending Basic Military Training.
SERGEANT → WARRANT OFFICER CLASS 1
- Demonstrate the core values and standards which regiments expect, and execute a high degree of activity, maturity and professionalism.
SECOND LIEUTENANT
- On appointment of this rank you will have passed your OTC admissions exam and begin your officer training.
SECOND LIEUTENANT → COLONEL
- Stay active within your regiment, and show professionalism, maturity and your true worth. Attend and host events, be a leader and keep performing your tasks to the best of your ability.
COLONEL → LIEUTENANT GENERAL
- Stay active within your regiment, and show professionalism, maturity and your true worth. Attend and host events, be a leader and keep performing your tasks to the best of your ability. You will be handpicked by Regimental Command and the Army Board for Promotion.
LIEUTENANT GENERAL → ACGS
- Show a massive degree of loyalty towards the British Army, show your worth and stand out between everyone else.
