Both of those are planned.
I tried, it looks worse with the newer one honestly.

If you want, I can find one for ya. Try searching “PBR carpet”.
Also change the SKY to a Black one, to make an allusion that the backrooms, or at least, in Level 0, is located on nowhere, literally. If we have a BLUE sky for example, the indoor will have a blue-ish color, yk?
This is a project I’m working on, in this case, my SkyBox is PitchBlack so indoor are not influenced to the “Sky” or the ““Sun””.
It’s alright. It does feel too saturated though. The atmosphere is meant to reek a mono-yellow color, not banana yellow. The lights could use an actual model, like an actual fluorescent light instead of a neon part.
True, I’m planning changing the light to Tubes of Fluorescent Lights!
Could work, thing is, I’m not giving adobe the rights to my soul just for a carpet texture.
I’ll try that one and see how it looks.
Is it good now? Tell me. (30 blabla)
Sorry it took so long to respond, been busy with other things.
I’m not really sure about this texture. Feels a bit… off.
Honestly it feels more like it would be in one of those horror games with very low amounts of light.
true, I will find another texture tho
Judging on this image, the pattern on the floor looks like it has a smoother texture along with some tiled patterns on it.
A few more extra details could be to also add some siding on the walls as seen in the centre-left of the image. I also notice that some of the walls here are not reaching all the way to the roof. Along with that, the addition of some props such as light sockets or rubbish, as stated above, could improve the overall atmosphere of the level.
Another thing, the lighting seems to… draw away from the overall experience. I believe changing the brightness of the lights via bloom could help, along with some small tweaks to the shadows and, if you haven’t already, changing the lighting to future to make the experience truly immersive. Try to use a pitch black skybox to see if it also changes the lighting in the room.
Sorry again for the late response, but I think I’ve managed to make it look a LOT better.
Here’s an updated image:
Did you… not look at the images?
Already done.
I am considering adding sockets to the walls.
My bad, slight misunderstanding. I was referring to the color of the siding to a less stand-outish more orange-brown sort of color instead of what’s basically just 255, 0, 0
Wow… GOOD JOB! It needs some improvement though, make the texture a bit less in size, change the texture of the wall and BUM. It will be rlly good!
Also every change you do is welcome considering the realism is near, any help I am here!
Something is rlly annoying me is the textures you use on the wall, ceiling, try change that if you do want.
The wall texture is not going to be changed, however at some point I do plan to redo the ceiling, but not now, or soon.
