Hi everyone,

This is the bulletin board for the group BaconHair Developers. You will be able to find some informations and updates to our group and the games on our group. There will also be a FAQ section as well because I get asked a lot of the same questions by different people and you can also find the rules for our games and group here as well.

Update 1/17/2022

Back in April of 2021, I started working on a different Roblox game with a different team but due to a lack of communication, the project got abandoned towards the end of 2021. In late August of 2021, I started my junior year of high school and the workload was massive (much more than I was anticipating) and the school year has been extremely stressful for me. I have been so focused on schoolwork as well as other things that I haven't had much time to work on the game. I am in school 5 days a week from 7:45 AM until 2:30 PM and most of the time in school is me trying to focus and do my work in a bunch of hard (and sometimes boring) classes. Ever since I was little, I have always had an obsession with fixing things and learning how things work. During the ~40 minutes "lunch" break, I spend most of my time going around the school with the one of the maintenance personnel and helping him fix things around the school and this is the only thing that really makes me look forward to going to school every day. When I get home from school, I don't feel like anything at all other than just sit around and watch YouTube or play Jailbreak. All the stress from school plus the fact that I have many different interests, obsessions, and hobbies has made me have much less time to work on the game. I also experienced serious burnout from working on the game for almost all of my free time every single day. I hope you understand what I have gone through and I hope to start continuing to work on trying to finish the game soon.

Group Updates

  • Our game is currently being worked on but I am the only person working on the game so the game may not be released until the end of this year because some parts of the game have to be rewritten.
  • We will start posting sneak peeks of our game on our Twitter: twitter.com/baconhair_devs
  • We will also be creating a YouTube channel where we will also be posting sneak peeks.

Group Wall Rules

  1. Be kind - don’t disrespect other group members (this includes complaining on the group wall about the fact that a staff member unfriended you or something)
  2. No self promotion - Self promotion of any kind is NOT permitted on the group wall (this includes telling people to join your group, play your game or subscribe to your YouTube channel) any posts containing self promotion will be deleted.
  3. Don’t spam - spamming may result in deletion of spam posts and/or being kicked from the group.
  4. No begging for staff to add you or give you admin - Roblox has a limit of 200 friends at once and some of our staff get more than 200 friend requests and it is not fair to accept some friend requests but not others. We DO NOT give random people admin because it is not fair if we give some people admin but not others and also people might abuse admin powers and ruin the game for other players.
  5. :robux_gold: Begging for Robux is NOT permitted since cannot give you Robux because it is unfair to other group members and it is against the Roblox Terms of Use for us to give you Robux through group payouts. :robux_gold:
  6. All group wall posts MUST comply with the Roblox Terms of Use
  7. Any staff that publicly brag about their rank (including outside of Roblox) will have their privileges taken away. Doing this makes our group and the other staff members in the group look unprofessional.

FAQ

These are some answers to questions that we get asked very frequently. You may want to check here before asking us a question because we might have already answered your question.

Q: Why don't you have any games yet?

A: Our game is not complete yet. I am the only person working on the game and I also have school and I also like to spend some of my free time doing other stuff. I still work on the game for at least an hour everyday and being the only person working on the game has also helped me get better at building and scripting.

Q: Why is your game taking so long?

We only have 1-2 people working on the game right now and most of us have school and we also want to spend some of our free time doing other stuff. Also some of the games code has some issues such as relying on a Roblox technology that is going to be removed or doesn’t really work anymore and that would cause our team a lot of problems in the near future so most of the games code has to be rewritten which is not easy or simple to do.

Q: Can I help you develop?

A: We are not hiring anyone at this moment but we may hire people in the future.

Q: Can you tell me about your game?

A: It will be a cops-and-robbers themed game kind of like Jailbreak or Mad City but it will be different in terms of gameplay mechanics and content.

Q: When will you your game come out?

A: At this time, an exact release date is unknown but it should hopefully be released by the end of this year.

Q: Can I contact a staff member directly?

A: It depends on which staff member you are trying to talk to and what you want to talk to them about. @ElijahAppleUser (the owner of the group) has his Twitter DM’s and Roblox messages open to anyone.

Q: Can you show us how to make Roblox games like yours?

A: We are unable to do that because these games require a lot of time and effort as well as years of building and scripting experience to create but there are a lot of resources that you can use to learn how to make games on Roblox. There are many people such as AlvinBlox that make Roblox building and programming tutorials on YouTube. Roblox has a few resources as well such as the Roblox Wiki that has game templates as well as programming guides and explanations of the Roblox API so you can learn about the possibilities with the Roblox platform.

Q: Can you give me some Robux?

A: We do NOT do any Robux giveaways of any kind! Even if we gave away Robux, we would not have enough Robux for everyone who wants it and it would not be fair if we gave away Robux to some people and not others. Also, it is against the Roblox terms of service to do Robux giveaways using the group payouts so we would get in trouble with Roblox if we did that. So don’t even think about asking for me to give you Robux because the answer will always be no!
Also WE CANNOT REFUND ANYTHING THAT YOU BUY FROM US WITH ROBUX including but not limited to:

  • Clothing
  • Avatar items
  • In-game currency/items (Developer Products)
  • Game passes
  • Private Servers

Q: Why did you delete my group wall post?

A: If the post was against our group wall rules then we will delete it and if you keep breaking the rules, we will kick you from the group!
If the post is breaking the Roblox terms of service in any way, we will delete it and report the user that made the post.
