Yesterday was the first time I encountered this issue with a fully up-to-date version of Studio. So what happens is if studio crashes (either stops responding due to too much memory use or studio gives the “we’re sorry” error), when you try to reopen studio it will show this error after a few seconds of loading claiming that studio has a bad image. This forces a user to download studio from the website again, but that doesn’t stop the problem from occurring again. I’ve had this error occur probably 5 times within the past two days and it hasn’t happened before this version of studio so I assume it is only happening in the latest version of studio.
