Yeah, I made a ball chair.

Like The Previous Guy Said It is Very Good But My Idea is to make those inside corners more round and on the outside round the edges a bit. My review is basically similar to the other guys but Thought Id say it’s pretty Good!
I tried making it more round before I posted it, but it just didn’t turn out good.
maybe try using negative union with another sphere instead of a rectangle or model it in Blender?
I tried using a negative sphere union but it didn’t turn out good.
Also, I’m not gonna use Blender, I just can’t lol.
Thanks for the suggestions, though!
The chair itself is extremely bare, and I think the outside ball needs more vertices as the sight of each individual edge makes it look not clean.
Maybe add details like a control panel, or cushioned seat.
It could use a lot of improvement
5/10
I can add some more detail to the chair, thanks for the feedback.
You said a control panel on a ball chair?
I mean, it does look like a control panel belongs in there. The ball part is seperate from the actual normal chair inside of it, which gives it a sort of “cockpit” feel.
If u wanted to give it more of a casual, just a “ball-thats-a-chair” feel, then I would suggest modeling a cushion into a soft egg-ish shape
The chair looks a little bit good but the design needs to be fixed inside with the correct decoration (the chair inside don’t look inside + the space needs to be a little bit bigger) just like this example:
I’m not going to say that you should use the 3D app called Blender since according to your reply from @Hero1Ghost you don’t know how to use it so let’s just use the tools that Roblox Studio gives to us!
Here we have a flat cylinder and a sphere:
I know they look a little bit small but If we add a Dummy (NPC) and scale the sphere bigger, we’re going to see that it’s going to fit for the entrance inside of the chair for the player:
Once we decorate the part of the flat cylinder a little bit and fix the position of the sphere, the result it’s going to be this:
Good but can’t see the inside, how we’re going to see it?
For this we’re going to do is duplicate the sphere and change the color for whatever you want (this example I’m going to use the color Rust [143, 76, 42]) which is going to be the interior and to scale a little bit down, keep your finger in the CTRL button and in these spheres with the color Red, Green and Blue, we’re going to select them making it a small sphere:
(The interior of the chair)
Now duplicate and make it small again but this time put as NegativePart and select the Rust ball, after making them a union, we are going to have a 100% fully interior!!
Looking good but we still need to see the outside. How can we do that?
Let’s get a good cylinder without being flat or half or other types, let’s get the cylinder that Roblox Studio have:
Now put the size like a coin and keep your finger in the Shift button and scale up!
Put the cylinder in the position of this giant “grey” sphere, rotate it and put in this area:
Put the same color of the sphere and the material, rotate and scale a little bit more up and fix the position and now what you are going to do is turn it to a NegativePart and duplicate it. Now remember the interior sphere? You’re going to also duplicate it and making NegativePart and select the big grey part making a union. Use the Negative Cylinder clone and select the recent union you just made and with the original NegativePart, put with the part we’re seeing outside. Do some union stuffs until you get this:
Put the size down and fix the positions and for the final part, let’s add a Round edge Cuboid as the pillows. Paste the position of the different color sphere, and shama lama boom!
You have now the 100% Ball Chair Model only using Roblox Studio tools!
(and don’t forget to add a seat part!)
And there you have! Hope that I could help you with this trying my best to explain it in English!
That not uncomfortable where would the legs go?
That looks much better! My only additional criticism would be that it is sort of chunky, but that is just stylistic preference. Good work!
Wasn’t expecting an entire tutorial but thanks!
You’re welcome my friend!
I was going to just send just one of those suggestions but I thought it would be a great idea explaining my best that you can improve this with a good ol tutorial!
