I am trying to make the best anticheat for my upcoming game, and I have seen other games like Phantom Forces ban cheaters from using any other alternate account, and I am wondering if its still possible in any way, and how to do it.
I saw someone on the developer forum talking about it, and they said it was patched. I am wondering if it is still possible in any way.
I also saw someone talking about a different way of doing it, and I am wondering if this is also possible, and how to do it.
No. There is no way currently to tell if multiple users belong to the same person on roblox. The best way to protect your game against this is to ensure that all players who join have an acceptable account age.
I mean, when a person got banned by the anticheat, if they tried to join on alternate accounts on the same client, they would get banned, and the only way they could bypass that is by reinstalling the client.
That future must have been removed. I am aware of numerous people who play phantom on alts. Without exploiting the system somehow, there is no way to hardware ban a user.
That’s the one I’m talking about. You clearly didn’t read the thread thoroughly enough to realize that that reply was a proposed alternative to IP banning if it was even implemented.
No. This is not currently possible on roblox. Perhaps rob lox may implement something along these lines in the future, but the fact of matter is that it’s currently impossible.
