Made a basic sword today in blender! – Slowly learning this, and it feels great! 
Wondering if any more experienced modelers have any tips/advice that I could follow in the future! – I would appreciate it greatly!

I think the handle could be a bit longer and thicker and the blade, less massive and wide. Overall, a nice, basic short sword, just a bit disproportionate. Keep it up!

The chips in the edges seem a bit unrealistic, you might want to just make those into dents. Depending on the material of the sword a chip might just break the entire blade.

Great advice! – I actually had no clue that was an actual thing with swords!
I’ll definitely try making it look a bit less worn down!
