Bass Blast Shoulder Pads follows wrong attachment point

The new item that just got uploaded and released uses the wrong attachment point when used in game, it follows bodyfront instead of shoulder.

Just needs to be switched over to be fixed.

It also clips through the shoulder on both sides of the avatar.

This could be easily fixed applies for both R6 and R15.
Expected behavior

Easy fix in no time, just needs to be changed to shoulder for the attachment

Hi calmestweather,

Thank you for flagging this. Unfortunately we won’t be making any updates to this Accessory at this time.

If we switch the attachment points to use the shoulder, then we’d have to choose either right or left shoulder, which means the shoulder pad will either move with the right or left upper arm, neither of which will look right. This is why we went with Body Front, so that the Accessory will move with the Upper Torso.

Shoulder pads and pauldrons that go on both shoulders are an issue we are trying to find a solution for right now.

Other than the attachment point, what about it clipping through both sides of the shoulder as shown? Or you won’t be making any update to it at all to include a fix on that.

Are you able to move it up in Y using the Accessory Adjustment tool?

I could use it, yes. But, why not fix the issue instead of having to raise the item on our end. As this is a newer item easily fixed, no? But I see what you’re saying and I found it funny.

Haha. I wasn’t trying to be funny or sarcastic. I genuinely wanted to know because this Accessory is marked as a Shoulder Accessory, but uses Body Front as the attachment point, so I wanted to make sure Accessory Adjustment would still work.

You’re not wrong in that it’s easy for us to fix, and you’re absolutely right that we should’ve placed it better on the Default Blocky to begin with. We’re just reluctant to fix Accessory positioning as it affects everyone who has it equipped. So our preference is always going to be for users to use Accessory Adjustment to move something.

Let us know if that makes sense or you have other thoughts. Thanks!

Yeah I get what you mean, and it’s all good was just curious to know about as of why when it’s brand new but its good reasoning on it. Thank you for making it clear as of why.

Also on other news, I just found what you said as funny.

It also seem that the shoulder pads are not centred (it might just be me though) as one of the shoulder pads clips through the shoulder more than the other one.
