Looking for feedback for my element battlegrounds styled game. Of course it’s not the best but I’m still learning.
Keep in mind the VFX, SFX and models used are not mine as I am only a scripter. I want feedback on the scripting of the moves only.
Cheat commands like spawning NPCs are accessible to everyone.
Again, please provide feedback and ideas on how I can build off this existing system. Like I said, focus only on the scripting part of it, thank you!

Overall, it’s not bad but it could use some work.

Balancing
Right now, some spells are overpowered compared to others (ex: divine beam)

Abilities
They seem a bit too repetitive or not flashy enough. It just doesn’t have that dramatic, powerful feeling. I don’t think this is a VFX problem fully. All your projectile moves look similar and so do your falling attacks (lightning, divine 4). A lot of stuff also seem to be eased linearly or smoothly.
Potential fixes:
- Camera manipulation
- cutscenes
- more impactful sound design
- mostly vfx for now

Visible changes in quality
self-explanatory. Compare flame wall to divine beam

punching
it just feels out of place. You only have m1 (no blocking or anything) and then you just have a bunch of magic. Not much incentive/use for puncing in my opinion
Some pros:
- seems to be largely bug free
- Switching between movesets works as intended without major issues
- Effort visible
- Overall, not bad at all for someone still learning
