Be able to set a device as a your main device to bypass 2FA

For a person that regular logs in and out of my account. It’s really annoying to have to keep going invite throughly my email to get a 2-step verification code and put it in. I propose that there should be a option in setting that says “set as main device” or something along the lines. This would be very helpful and to save time instead of putting in the verification code. This could be checked and unchecked depending on the device. I mean it doesn’t always take long to do this, but sometimes it takes a long time for the code to be delivered. This is more of a nit-picky thing than something important.

What is your use case for consistently logging out and back in to your account? Are you on a shared device?

There is a “remember me for 30 days” checkbox which does this but is that too short of a period for you?

I basically go on different accounts to test my games out. I make sure all in-game purchases work n stuff. I also have a alt account I use. Sometimes I do share the device aswell, if I invite a few friends over, (not at this time but at others.)

Yeah sometimes it is. I forget to check it half the time. But I have multiple accounts. I have a few accounts that I actually dev on with untrusted people. Like getting jobs from Group Recruiting Plaza or something. Cause I don’t want someone stealing my actual main accounts. Also just wanna say

Is there a reason you don’t use incognito tabs, multiple browsers, the Windows 10 Roblox client, or make a feature request to support account switching, like on Google and Twitter? A feature request to bypass 2FA seems like a recipe for disaster.

I never thought of using incognito just cause if the reason that login details don’t save, but I’ll probably use it then.

Wish that was a thing on Mac.

I mean I never actually thought of that, that would probably be a better idea then what I have now. And I guess your right.
