Beam clipping through meshes

Im unsure if this able to be fixed, but currently I am using beams to simulate light glare for car headlights and others in a scene to improve the visuals. The beam however. clips through the car body when looked at from certain angles, which is fine when you are looking away from the car, but looking straight on it doesnt cover the headlight glass all the way.


is there anyway to mitigate this problem?

Very annoying scripting to make headlights light up the screen very brightly like in real life, this will also add some realism
