Hey guys!
I’m not sure if this is a bug or something, but sometimes particles appear below the beam (even though they’re actually above the beam. See gif below). Has anyone encountered this before? And if you did, how did you solve it?

There have always been layering issues with beams, trails, and particles.
If you’re using beams and particle emitters, I don’t think there is a direct workaround for this issue that does not involve replacing something with parts and textures / decals.
If you want to force your particles to appear over beams (and other 2D-stuff in 3D space, I guess) you can set its Z-Offset to something very high.
EDIT: Bah, doesn’t work as well as I wanted it to It works, but once the camera gets too close, the particles disappear. Try bumping it up by a little bit until it passes through the beam most of the time.
Oof, looks like ROBLOX needs to fix this issue
Alright, I’ll try that out! Thanks
EDIT: yea it didn’t really work well for me either the issue still happens often and its weird.
