Beginner help for GFX's

Hello everyone, I’ve recently decided that I would like to start making GFX’s, I have watched multiple tutorials and have created my first two here:

There are a few things I would like to ask you:
Do you have any links to the body type rigs, the one I am currently using is good but the torso is levitating slightly.
Also, is there a free application I could use (for Mac) to add a background to the gfx and possibly add effects to it e.g fire etc.

Any support would be greatly appreciated! Thank you <3

I would recommend a rig called “PaingRigV3”, as it’s really smooth. You can access and download it by clicking here!
For free editing apps software I would use these apps similar to Photoshop. These two apps are called paint.net, and Pixlr, hopes this helps!

Nice GFX for a beginner, it will be better if you give the character more detailed pose, like bending his legs a little bit. Other than that, great job!

Its web based and is pretty much a Photoshop (very similar tools, lots of tutorials and an active developer).

You can find more overlays/effects in pinterest or just by searching overlays on google!

Hi! I think it looks really cool, especially for your first one! I suggest trying to add props, and 3D backgrounds. Now I know that sounds a bit daunting, I remember how freaked out I was when I tried to do it. It’s not actually that bad, it’s just like importing the head, but an asset lol.
