Behavior of the Arrow for Collapsing/Expanding Lines Changed

Reproduction Steps

Edit a script in studio, start a multi-line comment, a function, or a loop.

Expected Behavior

The arrow that’s next to the line numbers to be pointed downwards when all of the content is expanded, and pointed to the right when it is collapsed. This behavior is verifiable by googling around different Roblox Studio pictures.

Actual Behavior

The complete opposite. It points downwards when collapsed and to the right when expanded. This is solely an issue with the visual image of the arrow, all functionality is still there. It’s just a minor nuisance that makes me think something is hidden, since we’ve been accustomed to the prior behavior for years.

I agree this should be changed or reverted back to the previous behavior. This started happening after the studio design refresh.

Looks like they fixed it. What was funny at the time was that the Find All dialog had it right,
so you had this really pathetic inconsistency.

Still not fixed on my end. Did you reinstall?

I have only had it do its automatic updates. It would be nice if Roblox explained to us in some detail how they roll out various versions of updates, and what A/B testing, beta testing, opt-in, etc. ramifications there are.

From my perspective, I’ve had some annoying bugs w/ the Studio docking redesign, but have escaped
most of the really serious problems. I wonder if there is some bug related to writing / reading settings from the registry, as many of the problems people describe seem like they could be corrupted UI, etc. settings.

Edit:
For compare and contrast purposes, my running Studio is
Version 0.551.0.5510576 (64bit)
Says it is latest.

P.S. Just noticed that Studio erased the clipboard upon exit. WT*?
I hate to say it but if my developers produced bugs on such a massive scale as what we see
in the Roblox Engine and the new Roblox Studio, I would absolutely fire them.

Thanks for the report. I filed a ticket to our internal database.
