BERKELEY COUNTY SUMMER UPDATE

MAP EXPANSION

  • The map has increased in size by almost 50%! Check out the new lake, Heights Parkway, town area, and more! There are also several new buildings with new interiors.

CIVILIAN UPDATES

  • New civilian jobs! View the task board at each spawn (if applicable) to see what tasks you may complete earning in-game cash!
  • Jobs include: Berkeley News, Willmart, Forest Postal Service, Concord Forest Service, Monarch Waste Services, and Concord Public Works.
  • Forest Postal Service tasks: Take mail from mailboxes around the county, place it in the back of your truck, and return it to the depot to sort. Take packages from the shelves, put them in the back of your truck, and deliver them to the empty Willmart back stockroom shelves.
  • Willmart task: Await delivery from FPS, then take stock from the stockroom to stock shelves in the store.
  • Monarch Waste Service task: Take trash from around the county, place it on the right side of the truck, and return it to the depot to be deposited in the trash pile.
  • Concord Public Works tasks: Repair broken streetlights with the Wrench tool & tow cars with the tow truck.
  • Berkeley News & Concord Forest Service task: These teams are for roleplay primarily!
  • New Jewelry Store robbery: Use a gun or melee weapon to break a jewelry case to initiate a robbery. The robber has 30 seconds to break as many cases as possible. After 30 seconds, the remaining cases lock, and police are called. You must interact after breaking a case to take jewelry. Best done with friends!
  • 3 different illegal weapons and armor dealers have been spread around the map and they all sell different strengths of equipment: Tony’s Service Station, Lighthouse, and the Warehouse near farms.
  • New Ballistic-tier armor
  • Handheld radio & lockpick are available at Bass Hardware. The lockpick is used to free someone from handcuffs, more on this in the law enforcement section.
  • New 2013 Chevy Volt EV
  • Added 2016 Ford Taurus & Explorer
  • New Festive-exclusive 2021 Tesla Cybertruck

LAW ENFORCEMENT UPDATES

  • Every law enforcement team has received a makeover! All-new liveries and packages are available across each team.
    - Revamped detainment system! You can now cuff, grab, release, place in a car, take out of a car, arrest, search, confiscate weapons, and manually book at each police station.
  • Removed tactical liveries for Ford Expedition
  • Added new tactical liveries for Dodge Durango, 2020 Explorer, and F150 (CSP has a 2016 Explorer instead of Durango)
  • Added 2009 Chevy Impala
  • Various other cosmetic adjustments to vehicles
  • Tactical armor now costs money for fairness
  • CSP received new sirens and a new uniform. This uniform is temporary until a full uniform order is completed. It is not final.

FIRE UPDATES

  • New 2016 Ford Explorer with regular, slicktop, & POV package
  • Station 2 can now hold a ladder truck

BOOSTER PERKS

  • With this update, we will be moving away from booster perks and offering the new Extras and x2 Cash passes to be purchased at around the same price as a boost would cost. The reason for this is so buyers keep it permanently, it becomes available to more people, and we actually benefit from it.
  • If you owned booster cars, you will keep them forever! You just need the Extras pass to access them now.
  • The Extras pass offers several new things which booster perks did not offer. Check it out!

GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES

  • Fixed data loss problems.
  • Automatic guns will now always start on automatic mode when drawn.
  • Virtually all vehicle-related glitches have been fixed. This includes but is not limited to flinging, glitching, and ramming.
  • All vehicles should now have fully functioning lights (signals, headlights, etc).
  • The melee system was reworked! Melee weapons actually do something and tire popping is no longer an interaction.
  • Third-person shooting can be used inside of buildings again.
  • The donation limit was adjusted to be $10,000 every 1 minute.
  • Players are assigned a permanent random height and width upon playing.
  • Players can now swim in water without glitching.
  • Seasoned Veteran badge, awarded at 1 week of playtime with a cash bonus
  • Various other bug fixes and improvements.
