- What do you want to achieve?
I want to be able to create games faster & have my code be cleaner with an OOP style of programming. I see using a framework necessary to being able to do this.
- What is the issue?
I’m not sure which Framework to use! I currently only know of two open-source frameworks, being @Quenty’s Nevermore Engine & @sleitnick’s AreoGameFramework. I’ve only done surface-level research on these two and they both look really really good. However, I don’t want to get committed to one, and possibly miss out on certain features the other may. Both of the documentation also is really good for both.
- Your opinion or suggestion!
Have you used either Framework or possibly a different one? What do you like and dislike about it? I’d like to know more opinions before I dive into one, but I guess the only way I can figure out if I truly like it is if I use it in practice.
