Buy a cheap gaming laptop if you don’t care about mobility or battery life.
Acer Nitro 5 is what I started on. I bought one for roughly $1000, but you can definitely go cheaper.
I don’t recommend going below $600. As that might be too cheaply made.
Apple Macbook Air M2 is super fast and lightweight, it has great battery life and Roblox Studio has been optimised for an ARM-64 chip. Allows me to develop wherever I go without needing to worry about losing battery.
Mid-tier gaming laptop around $2000.
It might be cheaper, it might be more expensive, it might be better or worse. Depends on a lot of things, but if you don’t know what to look for a pricey laptop that says “Gaming” and with colorful flashy lights and a big price tag is usually a safe bet.
I don’t think there’s a single, one right answer. Everyone has their own way of getting the same job done.
