Best things to test to see if your game has hidden bugs/glitches?

So,

After you test a game with yourself or a couple other people and everything is working good, what are some further things you can test to see if it can really hold up (e.g. resetting several times in a row)?

I am wondering what the best things are to test to see if your game could glitch and bug out when people are playing it.

The game is round based for context. Any testing suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Reach out to contacts you wouldn’t normally talk to. Maybe friends of friends. The people you know best will treat your game with care and play it as intended, even if it isn’t intentional. Someone unacquainted and indifferent will be more likely to trip over rare bugs because they aren’t watching their step.

Arrange for a set number of people (I’d say 5-20) to all play your game at once. They should try to break the game where possible to identify any flaws. As they’re playing, tell them to take note of any bugs they find.

After they’ve finished testing, ask them to provide details on all of the bugs they encountered (if they could record videos, take screenshots, etc. this might be even more helpful). It might also be worthwhile getting them to respond to some questions about their experience, such as how fun the game was, how appealing they think it’d be to its target audience, how it could improve, etc.

Testing can be used for more than finding bugs - it can be used to generate additional insight into the quality of your game prior to launch as well, giving you an opportunity to improve it.

Just simply allow players to report a bug. This is going to be more effective than anything else, because if players provide enough information to replicate the bug, then you can easily fix it.
