Best way to go about funding a game, and hiring people

So I’m working on a realistic Bigfoot game. Ive been working on it for a little over a month. I am mainly a scripter, although I can build too, but I really don’t have the skills for realistic modeling.

I have a few questions so here they are.

  1. Should I try to find ways to fund the game, or go ahead and hire a modeler even with the possibility of the game failing?

  2. If I do fund the game what are some ways I could do it?
One main idea I had was this. Selling some advanced scripting systems (fps system, advanced movement system)

What should I do? And If I do fund the game how should I do it?

Any help is Appreciated!

  1. My personal advice is to avoid hiring people to do tasks for you whenever possible. There are plenty of tutorials available on how to learn modeling. By acquiring this skill yourself, you can save money instead of spending it on a modeler.

  2. However, if you prefer to hire a modeler rather than learning it yourself, I suggest offering your services as a scripter. You can take on scripting commissions to earn funds, which you can then use to hire a modeler.

This is my feedback on the matter. Of course, you can also pursue the approaches you mentioned, such as:

Selling advanced scripting systems (e.g., FPS system, advanced movement system).
