Ok so I make a Sci-fi games, and this is going to be my biggest project to date, second behind my port game which is currently in development.

This is my take on a science fiction acclimated reactor core. It took forever to script, and countless tutorials/friends answering questions and fixing mistakes I made.

The rest of the “facility” is very VERY underdeveloped so for now I’m just asking for feedback on the core. To activate it, turn the red valve before you press the green ignition button.

Very interesting. A few changes to make though.

  • Add a startup sequence theme, whether it is the well known Portal music, or self-made music.
  • There is too much smoke from the lasers
  • Add effects to the lasers when they fire & when idle
  • Have the cones on the lasers smooth into the frame of the laser itself
  • The red and blue colours don’t look appealing
  • Have the white lighting on the lasers change depending on the temperature/environment
  • Have the reactor pulse, or spin with particles around it

Other than that, it looks well made! I hope to see a good future with your game!
