Recently I made a game hoping to address a problem I feel ROBLOX has had for a while now: the inability to find any hidden gems/underrated games.
The game features user-submitted ROBLOX games, an in-game browser with the ability to filter on specific genres & sorting, and the ability to select games to play, which are saved to a special page in-game.

I’d like to know what you guys think about the game, so any feedback would be awesome!
Thumbnails don’t look convincing, but the actual game? pretty good.
Although, I recommend adding a button that can let the game creator remove their game from the list.
If someone is reviewing a game and it’s created by the reviewer, then there can be a button so the reviewer can permanently prevent their game from being added to the list.
It seems fine, but how does this function? How do you determine what “underrated” is?
Thanks! No idea how to make good looking thumbnails so that was an unfortunate afterthought. The recommendation is a good one though, noted for next update.
Players are able to add and review games, giving them a rating out of 10, which is used to calculate an average score for a game and ranks its placement based off of that score.
Also , a search feature on the discovery would make my thoughts on this game way better, and a recently joined tab. It would really make the interface easier to find games, and see game you have recently played so you can leave a review after playing.
There is a search feature! Located in the filter tab at the top, it’ll filter out any games that do not contain what is inputted and submitted there. It does require the games to have loaded though, but the alternative to that isn’t much better either (a true search system would require a game ID instead).
I’m kind of uncertain about recently played, since that use case can be fulfilled by using my selections, and I’m not sure if adding that would introduce too many extra DataStore requests (which could also be potentially duplicate if the user had already added it to his selections).
I LOVE THIS GAME
It helped me rediscover the passion in Roblox I once had. My only advice would maybe be add a search and add more games because I reached the end of the discovery too fast.
Awesome! Searching games in the Search Games tab shows whether the game has already been reviewed or it’ll give you the option to create a new review for the game to show up in the discovery.
Game creators have also gotten the option to prevent their games from being seen or reviewed.
I’ve gotten the suggestion before of having favorites visible, so that alongside recently played depends on whether its possible i can get that info from ROBLOX or the API (cause saving it would indeed mean more DataStore requests as my previous post stated).
