Better way to make sun lighting?

image
For this map I need the sun to be at this extreme angle where it is almost parallel to the ground, but unfortunately the lighting just doesn’t come out to look that well as a result of this extremely crazy angle

Changing Ambient and Outdoor Ambient only made everything brighter

The areas perpendicular to the sun are too bright and the areas parallel to the sun are not bright at all!

If you had any suggestions that would help!

I also want to make the general area brighter, but still have other areas that are dark

This will only fix this problem,

and there are likely much better things you could do - but I have a few suggestions :

You could make a “fake sun”, delete the original sun, adjust the haze, and put it where you want it without worrying about the lighting getting messed up

AND / OR

You could create an object with a PointLight, place this object on parts where you want it to be brighter, make it completely transparent, and adjust the intensity of the PointLight so that it suits your needs.

I’m no professional and I haven’t been on the forum for very long but hopefully I can provide some kind of help.
