Billboard GUI visible through walls?

I am using a billboard GUI to make a custom NPC nametag and for some reason even with alwaysontop turned off it still seems to clip halfway through the wall behind him if you’re looking directly at it. Just seems like an annoying little detail/

That is annoying and there is a workaround someone suggested but it might be overkill, you decide:

Making BillboardGui go only on top of SOME parts?

How can I make a BillboardGui go only on top of some parts? Currently, I have an RP Name BillboardGui, but it clips into the morph, making it hard to see at some angles. How can I make the RP Name display on top of the morph, but not on top of walls and other objects?
