Billboard UI very dark and messed up in game and in studio

A recent update caused our billboard UI (across multiple games) to become strangely dark and ugly. As far as I’m aware, this has started happening within the last day, possibly even just a few hours before making this post (2023-03-29T03:16:00Z). It’s happening in studio and in game, causing an unpleasant viewing experience for our players.

This appears to happen across multiple devices and for multiple people, as well as multiple people in studio / edit mode.

Expected behavior
The billboard UI clouds and lights are not supposed to be pitch black as shown in the images. Changing the brightness of the billboard only seems to help slightly in some cases, but appears to be less effective the farther away the object is from the camera.

Switching the billboards to AlwaysOnTop = true appears to solve the coloring issue, but obviously this is not ideal as we don’t want people seeing clouds and lights through walls.

Thanks for your report! Is it possible to post either a repro rbxl file or a link to a place that repros this behavior?

If there was no fix pushed then it appears that the issue has somehow magically resolved itself, for myself and others. Thank you.
