Hi, I’m making a life simulator similar to Bitlife called Ro-Life.
I’m creating an ingame casino where players can use ingame currency to bet for more ingame currency. It’s simply 2D based, and has all the normal usual rules of Blackjack, but a very simplified version. Players cannot buy in-game currency with real money, nor can they cash out.
I’m not sure if this is stil allowed though. If anyone can give me some insight I’d greatly appreciate it!
For this I really do think it is a tiny tiny bit of a greyzone, I want to say as long as the currency is not purchasable you should be alright.
However, the name ro-life could become an issue for you:
The name “Roblox” and any name similar to Roblox including “Blox” (and Roblox will determine what is similar) are not permitted in titles of any Experience created on or after June 22, 2022 (titles of Experiences containing Roblox or a name similar to Roblox that were published on the platform before such date are not affected by this prohibition). For example, titles such as “Roblox World” or “Bloxtun Express” would be prohibited. Source
