Changes
- You are only able to perform light attacks on horseback
- The base couching damage is based on the weapon’s heavy damage
- Multiplied damage from horseback now works both ways
- Previously, riders were able to deal multiplied damage based on how fast they were riding, but they weren’t able to take multiplied damage from players on foot - now they can.
- Projectiles can also deal multiplied damage, but only from the front.
- Increased Arsti damage from 28 to 30
- Increased Arsti release speed from 1.17 to 1.19
- Decreased delay between swings for all weapons
- Melee weapons on horseback have 1.5x the windup speed than on foot
- Horses are only able to stun players if they’re blocking (similar to kicking)
- Changed lighting technology to
ShadowMap
to improve performance.
Changes to Trampling
The Baseline
- Everybody (except ranged infantry) can prevent trampling by blocking with a shield and facing the horse
- If a horse runs into a shield, the block is broken and the player is stunned.
- Everybody can get trampled from behind
Light Cavalry VS:
- Light Infantry - Able to trample them from any direction unless they are blocking.
- Ranged Infantry - Able to trample them regardless of whether they are blocking.
- Heavy Infantry - Able to trample them only from behind.
Medium Cavalry VS:
- Light Infantry - Able to trample them from any direction unless they are blocking.
- Ranged Infantry - Able to trample them regardless of whether they are blocking.
- Heavy Infantry - Able to trample them from any direction unless they are blocking.
Heavy Cavalry VS:
- Light Infantry - Able to trample them from any direction unless they are blocking.
- Ranged Infantry - Able to trample them regardless of whether they are blocking.
- Heavy Infantry - Able to trample them from any direction unless they are blocking.
(when I use “trampling” I’m referring to a horse running into somebody and knocking them over/out)
