So simply put I have an idle animation made for a gun in blender and when I import it to roblox it’s hands are posistioned fine but the tool is not in the right spot at all, anyone know why?
This usually happens when you manipulate the bones in your animation rig in edit mode to “appeal” to your preference. Try not to do that.

If your gun is animated at all, then you did something wrong, if it’s un-animated try giving the gun it’s own animation as it might not even be running on the tool.
