Hey! I am importing this custom rig along with an animation from Blender. Everything is fine, but for some reason, the head and/or arms when imported into Roblox seem to have significantly different rotations from those of Blender. As you can see in the images, in blender, the hands are are placed on top of the character’s head, whereas in Roblox, the hands are placed inside of her head.
Here is some more information:
- I have used this rig for at least a dozen animations of the past few months without any errors like this, so I don’t think it’s an issue with the rig itself.
- I have tried messing with the following export settings: Scale, NLA Strips, All Actions, Force Start/End Keyframes, Sampling Rate, Simplify, Add Leaf Bones. There doesn’t seem to be a single combination of these settings that produces the correct result.
- I have tried baking the animation, the incorrect result persists.
- I have tried importing the animation from both Roblox (after importing the rig with All Actions set to true) and straight from the FBX Animation.
- I have tried re-importing the rig multiple times.
I don’t want to resort to manually moving the arms in my animation because that seems like a band-aid solution.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
