Blender background limits FOV

Hi all,

After updating Blender, I’ve been seeing this issue where the background limits the FOV wherever I move the camera. The GIF will explain it:

Also, I am now able to see through models in Material Preview mode which is undesirable. Please help me disable both of these features.

Thank you!

Show me your camera settings and I’ll figure out what’s the problem.

Disable Render Region to see if it makes the view any better.

Or, the build isn’t in the center of the map but at the very back.
If it isn’t at the center that should be why because if your to far away from the middle the camera doesn’t focus well.

I’m not sure what you want to see, so you’ll have to elaborate. I tried these above fixes as well, nothing worked :frowning:

Ahh, I work with cycles, send me a picture of the outside of the object.

And, btw it happens to everyone because it’s something built into blender as seen here in this video I quickly made.

So, to fix it you might have to move the part you want into the middle so it works.

to me that seems like your view settings or properties of the active camera need to be adjusted, the values you are looking for are called 3D view near clipping Distance and far clipping distance or just Clip start and End, same for the camera, for those I recommend 0.01 for near distance and 1000 for the far, press N to open the side-panel and there click on the View tab, or select your active camera and navigate to Object Data properties and open the Lens header.
