[BLENDER] How to add a delay in an object following a curve?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I need this for rig animation, I want the character to walk straight and then start following the curve when it reaches a certain frame

  2. What is the issue?
    The problem is that the object immediately moves along a curve

  3. What solutions have you tried so far?

I tried setting the offset to 0 and moving it to 1 when a certain frame is reached, but it didn’t help.

I also tried with influence but it works even worse

I also watched a lot of bads, but they didn’t explain how to make a delay in following the path, in those videos their objects follow from the very beginning
