Blender - How to use for beginners

Hello I am ConfinedDev, I have been a 3D modeler for 3 years and I would like to go over some beginner issues I experienced during developing.

I started in 2017 and I immediately loved it and started working on it at once. The program I currently use is blender which I definitely recommend. I could go on about it but I would prefer to get into the forum and not go off topic.

Invisible and hallow objects
So there are 2 reason that it could be hallow
#1 - You used a name that roblox does not permit to save the model. If you use basic objects sometimes roblox filters them. One I know of is “leaves” which I do not understand but roblox has an idea about so i am not going to question it.

#2 - There are holes in the mesh or it is not solid. This is a very simple fix, all you need to do is click the modifiers icon which looks like a blue wrench, and then click the “Solidify” modifier. This will double the amount of triangles it has and roblox only allows 10K so be sure to watch that.

Best keybinds to know when starting
When I started I knew nothing about these so I would click each icon but it was much easier once I learned them and there are some I learned just recently.

R = Rotate

S = Scale

M = move

All the ones above are great and if you want to Move Rotate or scale something on an access press Y to use the front to back axis, X for the side to side, and Z for the up and down.
A = select or de-select everything
TAB = Edit mode

B = A mode where you drag and it creates a selection box so you can select vertices and objects int he workspace.

Scroll Wheel - Click this and drag to change your view position, scroll up and down to move the camera up and down.

E = This creates new vertices specific to the ones you have selected that you can move ans scale.

CTRL + Z or Command + Z - This allows you to resort back to an earlier version of the model.

SHIFT + CLICK - This allows you to select multiples of something. So if you hold this and want to select 2+ vertices or general objects you hold this and select them all.

Z - This puts you into wireframe more which is really good for proportions, This I thought I would never need but it makes everything so much easier to do!

A - This gets you to insert any of the objects blender has to offer you.

CTRL + R - This allows you to add vertices. You must be in edit mode to add vertices.

Importing and Exporting Models to and from Roblox
This is simple. All you have to do is go to the top left corner, click it, scroll down to export, hover until the menu pops up and click on Wavefront.obj, then you export it to your computer, go onto roblox studio, insert a “Mesh Part” go to properties and click the yellow file and go to the mesh you just exported select it and boom your done.

To export click everything you want, move it to 0,0,0 Click on right click on it in the workspace tab click “Export Selection” Save it as an OBJ file, then you go back to blender, click file, scroll down and hover over import and select your file to import.

This is what I came up with of stuff I needed help with but if you have any questions be sure to ask them. My discord is CEO of Holden#1244 and I will answer any you have.
