Blender importing issues

I am currently having an issue with importing, it is clear the importing is dealt with the mesh and not Studio.

  • I need to import a cup (mesh) for a showcase I am working on
  • Every time I import the cup, my camera takes me to the mesh which never loads
  • I’ve tried flipping the normals, recalculating the outsides/insides, I’ve tried copying and pasting the cup in a new Blender session and still having the same error

I have tried importing other meshes and they import just fine but this cup doesn’t. Does the cup generate an ID when it is imported? No, no ID is generated therefore I can’t import it from the toolbox section.

If you could put your suggestions and solutions in the comments then that’d be fine.

Try uploading it again, but with the Output window open. Sometimes the uploading issue will be stated there and we’ll know your issue.

If there isn’t anything in Output, we can figure it out from there :slightly_smiling_face:

Try restarting studio, sometimes it bugs. Also, as @Aotrou mentioned, try it with the output on, and post an image of what you see.

Hope that helped!

I figured out the problem; Studio wasn’t counting the cup as polygons making it not load. I had to put a block inside the cup in order for the polygons to be counted, I added some bevels to the cube for more polygons, this worked.
