Blender Loopcut not accurate?

I’m trying to work on custom 3D Clothing similar to Vesteria and Dungeon Quest - However, I’ve ran into the issue with the clothing where the R15 doesn’t loop cut as desired.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this? - This is exported directly from studio.

Have you merged the vertices by distance? When exporting meshes from Roblox, all the faces are split as far as I know. So merging the vertices should fix the issue.

I have, still no success.

Loop cut will only cut along quads so make sure there’s no triangles or Ngons along the path you want to be cut. Also if you’re fine with it, can you send a blend file of the rig so I can test it out as well?

Played around with the Tris / Set to Quads and limited dissolved too and so far nothing

R15_RigOutfit.blend (2.0 MB)

Ohh I see, that explains. When you first merge the vertices and then limit dissolve, a few of the faces become Ngons:

You could instead first merge the vertices then convert triangles to quads and then dissolve the extra edges: (might need a bit more edge dissolving than what I show in the clip)
