Blender model color is acting strange

This is a minecart model (without wheels) in case you were wondering. The issue is that every single mesh in this model has the material “Smooth Plastic” and the color, “Really Black.” I did the coloring and material in roblox studio. Despite every mesh of the model having the same color/material, some parts appear to be a lighter color than the rest.

When I import it, the faces that are lighter in coloration are invisible. To fix that I used “Double sided.” I want the entire model to be black, however, as you can clearly see, that is not happening. I went into Blender and looked for inverted faces, however, all parts of the model appear blue. I can only see red if I go inside the model.

I’ve tried reaching out to my modeler friend, but they can’t identify the issue either. Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you union the model before importing it beforehand?
(I’m aware you said Mesh)

I did not union it. The model is comprised of about 10 separate meshes. I just started Blender like 3-4 days ago so I’m not familiar with most of its features. How exactly do you union a model?

And idk if this information is of any value whatsoever but the polygon count is 1,028

Did you set the bevel weight or the world color to blue while in blender and importing it?

Actually scratch that, did you export the model as an OBJ or a FBX?

I exported the model as .fbx, not obj

Try exporting the model as a OBJ and tell me if the issue persists. I’ve read multiple issues with textures that arouse from exporting it as an FBX.

Have you checked the experience’s Lighting? Try changing the Ambient, Brightness or Fog property and any children of lightning

Yes, exporting as obj worked. The only issue is that now the model is no longer split into seperate parts. I need to individually color each. I only have it all black in the image to show that the color is acting up.

If it’s really important, you can export and import every single one into blender (without moving it) since it keeps the same position as roblox, meaning it’ll be the same as roblox (at least for the placement), allowing you to color each one.
