Blender Negate Issue

hey, so as you can see in this example, the right side of the face mask has the correct slit for the eyes; however when i use THE SAME duplicated mesh and negate it from the mask, it glitches; please help me figure this out

When you duplicated your mesh, is it on the same part layer as the mask? For future reference, duplicate your mesh first before applying the first negate modifier. This can prevent it from bugging out.
You can also use the mirror modifier to prevent having to duplicate the mesh in the first place. Hope this helps!
