Blender Stacking Things

How do I perfectly stack things in blender? I’ve been trying to look it up and I can’t find anything. I’m trying to find a way to have the bottoms and tops of things stack to each other. Is it possible?

  • go to the top and enable the u shaped object, when its enabled it’s gonna be blue
  • then open the options and choose edge center
  • choose snap with closest
  • then enable whatever you want it to affect

then when you’re moving the part or object you must drag it to the edge that you want to snap to

You can perfectly stack things in Blender with the Array modifier. Relative offset is the object’s bouding box height multiplied by the percentage you set. Constant offset is a value you set yourself. You can also do the post above but it’s easier with modifier if you’re stacking multiple things.

Click on an object > click the wrench middle right of screen > Generate > Array > Relative Offset > Factor Z > 1.000

To be able to edit it click the arrow and hit apply
