Blender Textures Broken?

So basically im trying to make a gore game, and i got this one model. the front of the model has normal texture, but when i try to paint the sides, it doesnt even paint them, it just paints the front, but if it paints the sides, the sides look like this:

i tried using the uv editor but idk how to scale things to the right proportions

Can you take a screenshot with windows snipping tool of the entire UV map? Have you checked your mesh doesn’t have 2 materials on it? Have you made sure your normals are flipped correctly (Shift + N)?

1.Open the UV_Editor

2.Select all of the triangles

  1. Press the keyButton “U”

  2. Select Smart UV Project

i already found a fix, i just seperated the damaged area into a model and the not-so damaged area into a different model, the not-so damaged area has no texture (so i can change the color) and the damaged area just has the texture it needs to have, works perfectly
