Hi, I am having issues with importing my mesh from Blender to Roblox with being in the same location when I import it in chunks. The issue is when I import the mesh it doesn’t not import it in the same area as it was in Blender. I want to be able to simply import my mesh/map/model in chunks without having to assemble- I want it to be able to fall into place without having to move anything which makes it very tedious.
I have tried quite a few solutions and still does not import in the location that they should be importing. Does anyone have the solution to this problem?
The picture above is part of the map I imported from Blender into Roblox studio. The blank area is where I modeled a building and I would like to simply just import it from Blender and have it simply fall into place where the empty area is (because that’s where it is in Blender). However when I import the building it shows up in Studio in a whole different area. I don’t want to have to waste time assembling and rearranging everything together because it’s a very tedious, annoying, and frustrating task.
Make sure you exported your blender file as an FBX. (You don’t have to save each object individually, one export will save everything into one fbx file.)
Make sure you’re importing using the “Import 3D” button in the AVATAR section. (Don’t import by inserting a MeshPart and loading up the mesh through its properties.)
Check your model orientation in Blender, make sure it’s all flipped correctly (blue), if it’s red then the red parts would appear invisible in studio from one side and visible on the other.
Try scaling the model down in blender significantly (Select it > press S > Scale down), then try again. Models spawn largely by default when you import them from blender, so it might be way too big in blender and way bigger in Roblox Studio.
