I’m trying to import this mesh and texture to Roblox Studio form Blender. When I import the file, the texture is altered. Is there any way I can fix this? The top 2 images are Roblox Studio and the bottom is Blender (if you couldn’t tell already).
Are you able to attach the file for me to look at it?
Do you want the blender file or the .obj file?
I’m not sure what blender version you using so an Obj file would be ideal.
(I deleted the file because I don’t want too many people to have it)
Ok, I believe this is the file.
Is the version of the model in studio the same as the most recent iteration in blender? If you import it into Roblox, unwrap/texture it in blender, and then apply the texture to the original model in studio, it won’t be mapped properly. Obj files save UV coordinate data, so if you unwrap it, texture it, and apply the texture to a previous version of the model before unwrapping, it won’t look right
I imported the texture and mesh as one. That is not the issue
While creating the UVMap, did you leave any of the faces unwrapped or out of the box? I believe roblox automatically assigns the location if done incomplete.
At first, I had a face outisde the box. I fixed that but still got the same result.
Are there anymore possible reasons?
I wasn’t able to get the obj file previously but try to see if the faces are inverted in and reuploading the mesh that you fixed. Other than that, not that I can think of.
