i make a really nice model in blender but when it comes to studio i put the metal texture on its ugly are there any other textures i can use or just make it look nicer??
You can upload your own textures via the TextureID property of a MeshPart if the built-in materials aren’t enough. It might also be worth checking out Surface Appearances and PBR if you’re looking for high quality texturing.
Ok thank you, so should i just export as separate objects and texture separately?
You can do that, or you can texture the asset in Blender and import the texture into Studio and apply it.
How do i texture in blender? When i do it, it doesnt import with the texture
Do you recommend just using pbr or is it nicer in blender
The type of texturing and the method you use to apply it is entirely up to you - I don’t know what you’ve modelled. PBR typically works best if you’re aiming for realism. Texturing things individually in Studio might be better in your circumstances if you need to change the textures later on.
Realistic longsword is what i was going for
I want to low poly build and model and high poly model, what do you reccomend?
