Hey there! Last time, we introduced you to Block Blitz, a Jenga Recreation on Roblox. We completed the main game loop and made it playable… sorta. Today, we have a few really exciting features to introduce to you. This changes the entire game loop, making it a LOT more fun to play!

Maps
We added a variety of maps, to enrich the background and to add some fun. The desert map:
Power Ups
Increase the chances of your opponent failing, using power ups to hinder their turn!
We believe this is a game changing feature. What do you think?
How it works:
- Open the power up menu when it’s not your turn! (The jump icon is a placeholder)
- Choose your power up from the list of owned power ups. [I chose Block Freeze]
- Click on the block you want to apply it to.
- Voila! You applied a power up. The Block Freeze power up freezes the block in place, making it impossible to move.
- You can only use up to 3 power ups per game. We might reduce this to prevent the abuse of this system lol.
To buy power ups, click on the shop icon, which brings this UI:
Developer Products
We have added developer products so people can boost their way through the game. For now, you can only buy Blitz Coins.
I know the UI isn’t the best, but we were focusing more on functionality!
