Hi! For the past few months, there’s been an issue with the builds in my game.
I have no idea what this bug is, and I’ve never seen it before.
It’s mostly with folders, and I’ve yet to see it in models yet, but when I publish an update sometimes the parts in these folders will “shift,” or offset.
These parts should not look like this at all. If I check earlier versions, they’re completely fine. It’s only until the most recent version. My friend, who made these builds, calls it the shift glitch saying it’s common.
Aside, this is what it should look like:
(I don’t have an image of the slope.)
An explanation or solution would help out a lot, I can’t find any topics about this. Thank you!
Are you sure it’s a Roblox issue. Been building for years and haven’t seen this happen.
I have seen it happen with Parts that are welded to other Parts and you use a Plugin to try moving them.
Also have you just recently started using a new Plugin that may be causing the problem, or possibly used a free model with malicious scripts that are causing the problem? If it’s a team create place then ask your other developers if they’ve started using a different plugin recently.
I’m not sure if it’s a plugin or not. I guess we’ll have to see. I do notice it only happens on Team Create, though. If you want, I can send the plugins here, but it’s a lengthy amount of screenshots.
Never found a solution, sadly. I guess this one’ll remain unsolved. I’ve never experienced before, but again, according to this builder it’s very common.
14 days later, yeah, they’re anchored. My bad, took a break from this whole development thing. I don’t see why this would be a problem though, as it’s shifted in Studio as well, not only in-game. I’m not too experienced in building.
