What is Blocksville City? (Attributions)
Blocksville City (A.K.A Blocksville) is a Roblox roleplay game with the simple goal of making roleplaying fun and engaging, yet very simple! Blocksville takes heavy inspiration from a Roblox classic hit from the very early days of Roblox. More on that in a bit.
There’s a lot to do in Blocksville City; lots of tools and features to roleplay with! Hang out with friends, or make new friends. Create families & obtain jobs for your desirable incomes. The choice is yours for the making! There are countless features that set Blocksville apart from today’s biggest roleplay games. One massive example would be the sheer size of the map! It’s HUGE! Don’t worry though, as it’s very difficult to get lost with the countless things to guide you around!
Many features of Blocksville include, but are not limited to:
- Joining teams around the map using the spawners
- Earning money incrementally while playing
- Driving around the map with the many vehicles
- Flying airplanes & other flying vehicles - coming in an update
- Driving boats across the waters - coming in an update
- Buying houses
- Renting hotels or apartments
- Obtaining and using gear and tools
- Experiencing the weather and daylight cycles
- Obtaining the many badges, including mystery secret ones
- morphing into any pet / age
- Changing your character’s name, bio, & mood
Inspiration:
Blocksville, surprisingly, is not an original concept. In fact, it’s based off an old relic that used to be on Roblox’s front page! The game’s called “Robloxity”. I can’t express enough how much Robloxity is an inspiration to our project, but I highly suggest you check it out and take a quick look at it! It’s a very neat old game, and it really, truly felt like a one-of-a-kind! It’s what we thrive to re-create!

Blocksville’s features may also take a bit of inspiration from Brookhaven RP, so I cannot fare well without a mention of their ideas as well. It would feel unethical.

I have something cool to show on social media, what hashtag should I use?
Great question! I’m glad you asked! We know you want to spread lovely information about our game! Our favorite hashtag is #BlocksvilleCity! Use this hashtag on any of your favorite social media platforms and we might see your post! Maybe we’ll even like your post, or even share it!
Why is it so easy to make cash in this game?
The reason it’s easy to do so, is because we want the focus of gameplay to be on roleplaying. If we made making money in-game harder, the focus would’ve shifted over to grinding money rather than roleplaying.
Why is VIP a temporary membership / a subscription based system?
We made it like this so we wouldn’t have to rely on many developer products to enhance gameplay. If we made it a one-time purchase, we would’ve had to find other ways to gain profits. A little known fact about the VIP system is that it’d only cost you around 4-5 dollars maximum per month if you were to convert it to its real-world money value. That’s cheap! 
I left the game and I lost my home / vehicles / gear
Unfortunately, you might’ve forgot some key things if this happened. First up; homes, vehicles, and gear do not save when you leave. This ensures it’s easier to get a home when you join as well as create the same feel Robloxity used to!
Don’t worry though! You can sell your items for a 50% refund before leaving the game! However, if you disconnect and it is not your fault, you will get that refund automatically. Otherwise, you MUST refund your items to get your 50% refund!
Why do I keep dying when players are shooting me? I shoot players but they don’t die.
The reason you might be dying is likely because you’re on a criminal, prisoner, police, or security guard team. Those teams can fight against each-other. Police and security against prisoners and criminals. They are able to kill each other. This adds more fun to the game. However if you don’t like being killed, just simply don’t be on one of the 4 teams that can be health-damaged.
What’s the perk for joining the group?
When joining the group, every time you join the game, you will get a starter car! You must stay in the group to get the car every time you join though! - NOTE: This is being worked on. Currently the benefit is you can sprint, but only if you’re in the group. That will soon change.
