I started creating this golf game for a BR Creator Challenge (which hopefully will be approved) for about 1-2 days and I would like to share its current state and hear ideas about improvements. Didn’t quite need the most complex of scripts for it to work, though some improvements need to be made. Other features like spin effects, pontuation and more maps will be added over time.
Edit: after a long time a lot of new features were added, like more maps, a score system, servers list and special effects. The terrain is more visually appealing with newer maps, but I might change to a blender-made terrain because it feels like the colllisions from roblox’s terrain isn’t that good.
This looks good! Maybe change some of the UI colors and maybe change the other variables of the UIs, such as size and texture(s). Also, maybe fix that spelling error for “Strenght” to “Strength”. The builds look good overall and the animation(s) look fine! I think this is a pretty good game.
Sadly I can’t seem to find a way to apply wind factor and friction on a way that it gives precise results (balls stroken from same place with same direction, strenght, bat and wind are ending up on different positions). As It’s not using so much code and the game isn’t that competitive right now, I’ll not priorize too much on fixing this.
