How would I achieve the effect of the portal in the bloxys?

I’m pretty sure they just put a video up there, or they made an animated image. I’m not sure how to make it though.

I dont think thats how they did it, since its 3D.

It’s most likely just a couple of particle emitters. The blocks that are flying out are particles, that blue space smoke stuff is a particle emitter, and that swirly wormhole effect is a particle emitter.

They probably used the new Particle Orientation to create a 3D look.

The cubes are Billboard guis or particles and I’m pretty sure the portal is a decal.

Update: I was able to make it using particle effects.
