Blurry Textures on Faces, Accessories, and Classic Clothing Due to Streaming Issues

Issue Description

In some Roblox experiences, character rigs, including NPCs and players, sometimes have blurred face textures, accessory textures, and classic clothing (like shirts and pants). This seems to be a streaming-related issue that occurs inconsistently during play.

Occasionally, these textures load only when:

  • You move very close to the affected rig.
  • You enter first-person view and point the camera at the character.

However, once in first person, your character also starts appearing blurred, especially around the face and clothing, after interacting with or looking at other rigs. The problem persists until you leave first person or reload the experience.

This appears to be a Level of Detail (LOD) or asset streaming bug, as the affected textures seem deprioritized or delayed in rendering.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Join any Roblox experience with multiple characters using face textures, classic clothing, and accessories.
  2. Observe them from a distance; some will have blurry or missing textures.
  3. Move close to them or aim in first-person; the textures may then load.
  4. Switch to first-person and look around; your character may also appear blurry.

Expected Behavior

Textures for faces, accessories, and clothing should consistently load at a reasonable distance and should not degrade when switching to first-person view or when other characters load in.
