Welcome to B&M Public Relations!

As a Senior High Rank (SHR), you are entrusted with the responsibility of running the Public Relations (PR) division. This role comes with expectations, standards, and the need to maintain a professional environment at all times. :star2:


Guidelines and Standards

Grammar

  • Requirement: Grammar is mandatory at all times except in informal chats. :writing_hand:
  • Where it’s required:
    • Announcements
    • Event hosting
    • Communications with alliances
    • Official documents or logs
      Failure to adhere to proper grammar reflects poorly on the team and may result in corrective action.

Responsibilities (Head/Co-Head & Staff)

  • Stay on track with your weekly quota. :bar_chart:
  • If you need a break or are unable to complete your tasks, submit a Leave of Absence (LOA) by contacting the Ownership Team. :stop_sign:
  • Always maintain professionalism when representing the PR team.

Events and Proper Formatting

You must follow correct protocols when hosting events or activities.

Event Protocol :arrow_down:

  1. In-game Announcements:
    Use the :n command to announce events professionally.
    Example:

    :n An event is taking place in just a moment! Please feel free to participate. :tada:

  2. Rules for :n Command:
    • Grammar is mandatory.
    • Maintain a 10-second interval between announcements to avoid spam.

Alliance Visits :arrow_down:

When visiting or hosting alliances, follow these guidelines:

  • In Our Game:
    • Minimize the use of the :n or :h/:m commands to avoid spamming.
  • In Other Games:
    • Follow their protocols and maintain respect for their rules.
    • Represent B&M with professionalism. :handshake:

Hosting PR Sessions

PR sessions can include activities like games, trivia, and interactive events. Proper formatting ensures clarity and professionalism.

Finding Partnerships :arrow_down:

  • Research Requirements:
    Look for the group’s partnership requirements. If you can’t find them, open a ticket with their team to inquire. :envelope_with_arrow:

  • Exchange Ads:
    Send our partnership advertisement to their team and request theirs in return. Make sure to add their ad to the Partnership Ads channel in our server. :memo:

  • Represent Us:
    Stay in their server as a representative of B&M to maintain communication and uphold our reputation. :handshake:


Quota and Consequences

Public Relations Quota

Rank Responsibility
Head of PR Host 1 event OR co-host 1 event, log all sessions by staff, gain one new allience or 5 new members, Send 30 message in the main chat
Co-Head of PR Host 1 event OR co-host 1 event, log all sessions by staff, gain one new allience or 5 new members, Send 30 message in the main chat
Public Relations Staff Host 1 event per week, TRY to find new alliences, Send 30 message in the main chat

Note: If you are unable to meet your quota, notify your superiors immediately.

Logging Proof

  • Where to Log:
    All proof of your completed tasks (e.g., screenshots, announcements, etc.) must be submitted to the Quota Proof channel. :open_file_folder:

  • What to Include:

    • Event announcements or confirmations.
    • Screenshots of activities (e.g., hosting, alliance visits).
    • Any relevant evidence showing the completion of your responsibilities.
  • Reminder:
    Ensure all proof is clear and properly labeled with your name and the date of the activity. :card_index_dividers:

Failure to Meet Quota

  • Consequences:
    • 1st Step: Verbal Warning
    • 2nd Step: 3 Strikes (within a week)
    • 3rd Step: Demotion

Section 2: Logging Events: Head-Co Lead Only

Logging System

  • Use the Trello logging system:
    1. Find the correct Trello clone card.
    2. Clone the card.
    3. Fill in the required fields (e.g., staff name).
    4. Move the card to the Log Section to ensure it’s recorded for the week. :clipboard:

Resetting Logs

  • At the end of the logging cycle, delete the old logs to reset for the new week.

Handling Non-compliance

  • If staff fail to complete their quota:
    • Issue a verbal warning.
    • Track 3 strikes per week.
    • If necessary, escalate to a demotion.

Demotion Protocol

  1. Notify a higher-up before initiating any demotion.
  2. Provide a summary of the staff member’s actions and quota history.
  3. Ensure proper documentation is completed.
