Body velocity or linear velocity for knockback

would you reccommend using linear velocities or body velocities for things like knockback in a fighting game

They’re all the same thing, just with some different feature inside of them.

One uses an attachment, while one doesn’t

I’d suggest using linear velocities as Roblox discontinued part related velocities, try to avoid deprecated objects.

future reference, if your game is bugged, then that is because body velocity is deprecated
you can still use it though, just take that as caution
