Bondi Rescue Roleplay Intern Starter Guidelines
Being a HR:
Being a HR at Bondi is an extremely hard job, even though it seems easy. Your job is to solve issues happening within the game, issues in the discord, and to help people. A major part of the job is solving tickets. To learn how to do the parts of your job, please look at the different sections of this guide.
When joining the game, you no-longer have to wear a uniform. You are able to wear your normal avatar, with any appropriate attire. Please wear clothes that tend to be more professional than clothes that could be used for trolling.
You are to supervise the game, and solve issues immediately when they occur. Whether itâs a troller, spammer, exploiter etc, you are always there to solve issues.
If you are unable to solve issues individually, you may call assistance from a fellow HR or SR!
Admin Commands:
There are many commands that HRs can and canât use, which is why a guide has been made to help you. Bondi Rescue Roleplay HR Commands Guide - Google Docs
Please read this guide. Once again, if you have any questions, please contact an HR+.
Dealing with Trollers:
Dealing with trollers is going to be a common thing you are going to be dealing with when being a HR at Bondi.
Trollers often come in funky-looking outfits, and act in a childish way. They usually try to break the rules for âfunâ, which causes disruption to the game.
To deal with trollers you warn them 3 times depending on the severity of the action they have caused. After the 3 warnings have been issued, you kick them.
Once they have been kicked, you have solved the issue momentarily. Though they might come back, if they do come back and donât troll, leave them be, but if they do troll, issue a ban using the panel, which will be later discussed.
Some instant bannable offenses which are caused by trollers are; Major Spam, Glitching Vehicles, Bypassing, Anything that is against ROBLOX ToS, Creating Alts, etc.
You can only pban a player when a raid has occurred at Bondi, that is the only exception when banning a player. A raid is when a bunch of people grouped together, usually dressed the same, and are trolling together, to cause disruption.
You would only warn/kick if the offenses are minor, and ban if the offenses are major, is one way to put it.
Dealing With Exploiters:
What are exploiters? Exploiters are like another word for hackers. These hackers will do something like fly or get into an area staff could only get into while theyâre only a visitor or perhaps even mess up the game like crashing it, bringing everyone, and any of that sort.
Exploiters receive no warnings, and receive an instant pban. If you need assistance, or need help confirming if it was a glitch or an exploiter, you may ping the ERT using the format shown in the channel. An exploiter will be Level 2+, and itâs best if SRs are on scene.
Banning and Pbanning:
When banning or pbanning a user, please run the command âban (username) reasonâ or âpban (username) reason.â
A ban is only banning them from the server youâre in, and a pban is a permanent ban for all servers.
After you ban/pban a user, you need to log this in the ban logs channel. This channel can only be seen by HR+, and you will face moderation actions if you leak anything in the channel to someone who is not an HR+.
Please follow the format for logging as shown in the ban logs channel.
Tickets:
Tickets are when a user who requires assistance or has a question DMs the BRR Support Bot. Part of your job is to solve 3 tickets a week, as itâs part of your quota.
For a detailed description/instruction on how to complete tickets, please read this guide:
Additionally, if you have any questions, you may DM an HR+
Issuing Warnings
As an intern, you need to remain active in-game but also monitor the discord server.
Executive Board+ receive the âstrikeâ command, however anyone ranked Intern and above can use the â!issuewarningâ command.
!issuewarningâ is the equivalent to a staff warning. You may use this command to punish someone in the discord for breaking a rule.
(Our rules are stated in the â#informationâ tab in our server.)
Once someone receives 3 staff warnings, you may kick them from the discord server using the â-kickâ command; For example: â-kick (@username) (reason).â
